STEWART, Frances Marie ~ Age 82, of Greenwood, Kings Co., N.S., passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born on April 20, 1943, in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mable Fougere. Frances loved her dog, Maggie, and enjoyed spending time walking her with friends in the local area. Surviving are sons, Kevin and Trevor (Amanda) Stewart, both of Greenwood; son-in-law, Richard Ladouceur, Montreal, Quebec; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Gabriel, Willow, Marc and Mathieu; sister, Alice Fougere, Ottawa, Ontario; brothers, David "Dave" (Pat) and Joseph "Joe" (Frankie) Fougere, Halifax; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carl J. Stewart; daughter, Lisa Ladouceur; son, Michael Stewart. There will be no visitation or service.  A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
