COMEAU, Franklyn Ellsworth "Frank" - 84yrs, of Middleton, NS formerly of Nictaux passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at home. Born in Bridgetown, NS he was a son of the late Douglas and Anna Ruth (Mader) Comeau. Frank was a retired Superintendent of Public works for the Town of Middleton and was a past member of the Middleton Lions Club. Frank loved working in his gardens and enjoyed being outside every day. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandson. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years the former Evangeline "Vange" Milbury; his daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Bent (Brad Nagy), New Albany; his sister, Olive (John) Michand, Ottawa; his brothers, Roland (Noel) Comeau, Ottawa; Douglas (Barbara) Comeau, Saulnierville; his grandchildren, David (Karen) Cole, Nictaux; Dawn Cole, Middleton; Michelle (Craig) Pierce, Middleton; Tim Cole (Jenn Balcome), Spa Springs; great grandchildren Carissa, Brianna, Keysha, Devin, Aleigha; step-granddaughter, Eilidh; great-great grandson Kael and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Mary, Dorothy "Dot", Betty and brothers, Eugene, Edward and Frederick. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Nictaux Cemetery. Donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
