Smedley, Franklyn "Kelley" – Age 65 of South Greenwood passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, May 4, 2023. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Frank McLeod and Marilyn (Vidito) (Smedley) Creemer. Kelley was a very hard worker.  He was a certified Meat Cutter. He took pride in his tree service business (Kelley's Tree Service) and aimed to please every customer. He was awarded with being one of the Top 3 tree services in Burlington, ON in 2020. He always gave 100% effort in everything he did. He was a positive role model to his employees. Kelley was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He also enjoyed boxing and coached for many years. We will miss his quick wit, humour, and generosity. Kelley was a loving partner, proud dad and grandfather, caring brother and friend to many.

Kelley is survived by his loving companion of over 23 years, Katie Ferstl and his fur baby and best friend, CoCo; sons, Jason  & Jeremy (Jessica) Smedley; step children, Steven (Guylaine) & Michael (Marjorie) Ferstl; grandchildren, Kara, Kyler, and Felicity; step grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Roseanna, and Raphael; sisters, Connie (Charles) Lewis, Shirley Smedley, Allan Jay, and Lindy Corrigan; brothers, Chuck McLeod (Heather) and Barry Creemer; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Besides his parents, Kelley was predeceased by his brother, Earnie Smedley; brother-in-law, Bob Corrigan.

Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place in Tremont Cemetery at a later date.
