STODDART, Franklyn "Wayne" – 63 of Inglisville, Annapolis County passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Lindsay and Elizabeth (Burns) Stoddart. Wayne was formerly employed with the Department of Lands and Forest at their tree nursery in Lawrencetown. He later started a hobby farm which he operated for several years. Wayne is survived by his son Edward, Inglisville and his mother the former Roseanne Rouke. Sisters, Carolyn King, Clarence and Alice (Dennis) Dahr, New Minas; brothers, James (Clarice) Stoddart, Greenwood and Ronald (Wilma) Stoddart, South Williamston and a half-sister, Stella Brewer, Halifax; several nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles and good friend Ardith Richardson. He was predeceased brothers, Raymond and Harold; sisters Dorothy and Myrna; half- brothers Floyd and Leslie; half-sisters Viola, Isobel and Laura. Wayne's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors and nurses on the Medical Floor, Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. By request cremation had taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 3, 2016 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Claude Bonnell officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown.
