WHITMAN, Franklyn LeMoine ~ age 82 of Berwick formerly of Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at home. Born in Lawrencetown, he was a son of the late Leroy and Laura (Slauenwhite) Whitman. Frank was a retired carpenter and operated Whitman Gardens in Lawrencetown for many years. He was a past member of the Lawrencetown & District Volunteer Fire Department and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Frank is survived by his wife, Ina, Berwick; daughter, Debbie (Danny Allison), Halifax; son, Tom (Colleen Romkey), Coldbrook; grandchildren Paul, Mark, Thomas, LeRoy, Keely, Rylee; great grandchildren Colby, Ann-Marie, Chyanne, Dominic, Jackson, Elizabeth and great-great grandson Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Rita; sisters Thelma Callicott, Myrna Whitman, Barbara Roscoe, Sylvia Wood, Geneva Wood, Laura Gehue; brothers Harland Whitman, Douglas (in infancy) and Charles Whitman. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448 with Rev.
