WHITE, Franklyn William "Frank ~ age 71, of Aylesford passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2020.  Born in Berwick on May 26, 1948 to the late Noyce and Gertrude (Whitman) White, he was raised in Aylesford, where he resided until his passing. A mechanic by trade, Frank started his career at a few valley dealerships, but knowing he wanted to work for himself, he built a garage on the family property and created a successful business for more than 30 years. Frankie was known to many as a great storyteller, jokester, and a generous man. He loved the company of his friends, family and customers alike. He showed his love by providing for and helping his family and friends any way he could, even if it was just supervising and telling stories, while the boys cut up the winter wood. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid carver. He passed down his 'Jack of all trades' nature to his boys, along with many of his other wonderful qualities. Frankie is survived by his two sons, Darren and Gerrad (Kelli), and their mother, Paulette, all of Aylesford; brother, Bruce (Mary) of Welland, Ont; sisters, Alicia (Norman) and Doreen (Melvin), both of Middle West Pubnico; as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his beautiful Border Collies, Princess and Samantha. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2020 in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448 with a funeral service following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Patrick Gilbert officiating. Interment will take place in Aylesford Union Cemetery followed by a reception at the Aylesford and District Fire Hall.
