LASHINSKY, Freda Ruth – age 79 of Wilmot, NS passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 unexpectedly at home of a heart attack.  She was born in Tremont, and was a daughter of the late Arlie and Ina (Milner) Hatt. Freda for many years worked as a private caregiver.  She thoroughly enjoyed going on day trips and participating in yard sales. Also of utmost importance to her was her dogs, each and every one was special to her.   She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Lee (Fred) Robicheau, Amherst, and her son, Terry Stephenson , Esquimalt BC., her grandchildren Kyleigh Carey, Jacqueline Carey, Kattina Stephenson, Declan Stephenson, Christopher Robicheau, Blake Robicheau, and great granddaughter Makenna Robicheau; her sisters, Vivian Spicer, Berwick,  Heather (Robert) McDougall, Greenwood, and her brother, Enos "Sonny"(Jessie Cloutier) Hatt, Meadowvale. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her companion William Martin "Marty" Cross, sister Marjorie Whynott and brothers Morley and Arnold Hatt. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 26, in United Pentecostal Church, 500 Main Street, Middleton, with Rev. Dean Dickinson officiating. Interment has taken place in Tremont Cemetery. Donations in Freda's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
