Obituary

GRAVES, Garth Clarence ~ Age 71, Berwick, formerly of Kingston, Kings Co. passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Berwick, he was the youngest son of the late Clarence and Mae (MacPhee) Graves. In his professional career, Garth was employed with Scotiabank and upon his retirement was the caretaker at Kingston United Baptist Church for 25 years, where he was also a member. He was formerly an active member of the Kingston Lions Club. Garth's greatest joy was his family and times that they had at special get togethers. He had been residing at the Fundy Villa Apartments in Berwick, for the past several months. Surviving are his brother, Raymond Graves, Kingston; sisters, Myrna Pulsifer, Kingston; Elaine Jordan, East Kingston; Eleanor (Frank) Fillmore, Kingston; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Eric Graves. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service followed by a reception will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 20, in Aylesford Baptist Church, 2543 Hwy No. 1, Aylesford. Pastor D. Patrick Gilbert and Rev. Leon Langille officiating, with interment in Aylesford Union Cemetery, at a later date. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Grand View Manor Bus Fund or to your favourite charity.
