Twilight Memories
There's something nice 'bout twilight time
When shadows start to creep,
The earth seems hushed and waiting.
For the evening star to peep.
Birds are winging slowly home ward
Sunset casts its golden hue,
It is then my memory's brightest
Bringing back your face, anew.
All my thoughts go flying your way,
Wafted, on the evening breeze,
Lonely tears fall down, unheeded,
As dry leaves float down the trees.
