Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gary Curtis Huston, age 79, of Kingston, announces his passing on October 17th, 2025, at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born in Pugwash, Nova Scotia, Gary was a son of the late Ed and Gwen Huston. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and spent many cherished days hunting, fishing, and enjoying the natural beauty of his surroundings. A devoted fan of the Montreal Canadiens, Gary never missed a chance to cheer on his team. He also had a fondness for the simple pleasures in life – especially Nancy's baked goods, and a challenging sudoku puzzle.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Huston; sons, Aaron and Sandy Huston; stepdaughters, Letitia Thimot, Lorena Leavitt, and Vera Bennett. He also leaves behind his sisters, Roseanne Keddy and Jeanie Brooks; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought great joy to his life.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Gwen Huston; daughter, Jackie; son, Gary "Skipper"; and brother, Leslie.
In accordance with Gary's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
