TAYLOR, Gary Philip ~ Age 83, of Windermere, Kings Co. The family are heartbroken to announce the passing of their dear husband, dad, grandfather and friend, Gary Phillip Taylor on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Frederick & Alberta (Combs) Taylor (of South Berwick). Gary worked for Berwick Bakery for 35 years and retired as manager. His passion was owning Gary Taylor Car sales for 35 years until earlier this year which he absolutely loved. Dad always loved to chat & find out who you were & who your family was. Gary would show a car & stand there to chat forever. He loved spending time on his front porch from spring till fall chatting to the neighbours.  Dad belonged to the Berwick & District Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years. Another passion was getting out on his side by side on many trips with his very special friends.  Our so loved dad, grampie, husband & friend will be forever missed. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Marilyn H. Hersey; daughter, Brenda Taylor (Greg Best), Melvern Square; son, Brian Taylor (Ian), Kentville; grandchildren, Nicholas Reeves (Patty), Rockland; Jeremy Reeves (Krissy), Morden; Jenna Reeves (Benoit), Coldbrook; Kaslyn Lightfoot (Joel), Rockland; Colten Taylor (EmilyAnn), Coldbrook; great grandchildren, Hayden Reeves; Neriah Taylor; and Marshall Thorpe; sister, Andrea Hale (Raymond), Windermere; very special extended family, Patrick Reeves and Kathy Taylor.  Dad thought so much of his beloved cat, Ginger. Gary was predeceased by brothers, Gerald and Lawerence Taylor; sisters, Ida and Lottie Wambolt; Evelyn Murray and Leota Patterson. There will be no visitation.  Funeral service, followed by a reception will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448, with Rev.
