TRIMM, Gary Edward – age 62, Greenwood, Kings Co., passed away on April 26, 2016, in Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton, and he will be missed by so many. Born in Halifax, on December 26, 1953, he was a son of the late Hubert and Charlotte "Lottie" (Bennett) Trimm. Gary loved his wife and family had worked as a general contractor most of his life. He loved helping people, including the Upper Room Food Bank. Gary loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, listening to classic rock, was fun loving and was always the life of the party. Surviving are daughters, Harlie Trimm (Brendan Clarke), Waterville; Naomi Trimm, British Columbia; Tigra Trimm, New Brunswick; sons, Davidson Trimm, Greenwood; Shane Trimm (Christy O'Leary), Ontario; Gary Edward "Jr." (Tyla Harker), British Columbia; numerous grandchildren; sisters, Beverley Rudolph, Dartmouth; Janet (George) Chambers, Halifax; uncle, David Trimm, Halifax. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, the former Diane Despres; sister, Linda Haley; brother, Morgan Trimm. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place at 4 p.m., Sunday, May 1, in Tremont Cemetery, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Donations may be made to the Upper Room Food Bank, Kingston Lion's Club or Companion Animal Protection Society – CAPS.
