WAGNER, Gary Donald ~ Gary much loved husband of Jane (Nixon) Wagner slipped gently into eternity to his heavenly father with his precious wife, Jane by his side on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. While living in South Milford, he was the lead singer and guitarist with several country music bands, that did charity concerts for community halls and churches. Gary had a love for his fellow man and helping where he could, such as his wife and himself running the Sharing Room at Middleton Baptist Church, for a number of years. Up until recently he enjoyed playing guitar and singing at jam sessions. He was predeceased by his father, Maynard Wagner and mother, Mabel Wagner of Greenland, also his stepdaughter, Nancy Bremmer of Digby County; and niece, Jennifer Wagner of Liverpool. He is survived by the love of his life, Jane, who spent over 40 years together; brothers, Warren (Karen) Wagner, Liverpool; Kevin (Gwen), Greenland; sister, Bonnie of Greenland; sons, Scottie (Nicole), Cheticamp; Greg, Sarnia, ON; and daughter, Sherry, Digby; five grandchildren; six nieces and nephews. From afar, Gary wishes you the profoundest of faith and peace which is the one thing that has kept him going this past five and a half years. An unmeasurable amount of gratitude is sent to Pastor Sweis and all the members of Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church for all their prayers, support and trips to appointments. A graveside memorial will be announced at a later date.
