WHITE, George Albert – age 94 of Nictaux, NS passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Albert and Louise (Devine) White. George built, owned and operated White's Cottages and Campground in Wilmot. He loved camping, travelling and woodworking. George was always busy and loved family gatherings and was a member of the Middleton Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughters, Phyllis (Tony) Pedicelli, Nictaux; Dorothy (Carroll) Nichols, Middle Sackville; Jean "Jeannie" (Byron) Singer, Wilmot; Karen (Gary) Byers, Coldbrook; son, George (Joan) White, Wolfville; sisters, Beverly (Les) Roberts, Yarmouth; Vera (Halden) White, Yarmouth; Diane Villeneuve, Burlington, ON; brother, Herbert (Carol) White, Ontario; grandchildren Jeffrey White, Steven White, Michelle White Buckton, Roberto Pedicelli, Christina Pedicelli, Wayne Nichols, Julie Nichols, Luke Singer, Brent Singer; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and stepchildren Richard Kays, Halifax, Fred (Linda) Kays, Halifax; Dona ( Bill ) Dominey, Upper Lakevill  and several step grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Daisy (Murphy) ; second wife Ruth (Trask); sisters, Louise, Ruth, Mildred, Helen, Mary, Muriel; brothers Stanley, Earl, Fred, Arthur, Roy, Bill, stepson Tommie Kays and a step grandson. Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Middleton Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service.
