Obituary

CONNELL, George "Allison" age 53 of Greenwood Square, NS passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at home. Born in Middleton, he was a son of Ruth (Oliver) Connell and the late Frederick Noble Connell.  Allison was a precise woodworker and had the ability to fix pretty much anything. He loved four wheeling and spending time at his cottage with his friends and his buddy Cheeko. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Deborah Ann (Naugler); sisters Doreen Connell, Kingston; Joan Grant, Bridgetown; Shirley (Richard) Giles, Aylesford; Rose (Bruce) Hannam, West Dalhousie and Karen (Curtis) Trimper, Newfoundland; brothers Ross (Betty Lou) Connell, Kingston and Gary (Sonya) Connell Bloomington, NS. Besides his father, Allison was predeceased by his son Colin and his sister Elizabeth Robar. In keeping with Allison's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will take place at the Nictaux Fire Hall on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2-4 pm. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
