Wendell was born in Middleton, NS on November 12, 1941, to Alan and Elsie (Webber) Pigott. He loved everything trucks! He drove trucks for Norwood Bowers before going into business with Wendell's Pick-up and Delivery. He later worked with Canadian Pacific Express, Interlink and as a mail contractor with Canada Post. His favourite pastimes were looking at trucks, collecting miniature cars, trucks and could often be found strolling around car lots.
