SELIG, Georgina "Rita" - 82, of Edmonton formerly of Kingston, NS passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 in Sturgeon General Hospital, St. Albert, Alberta. Born in Middleton, NS she was a daughter of the late Gale Willard and Marjorie Sophie (Beals) Oickle. Rita was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Don) Loney, Prince Albert, SK; sons, Howard (Darlene) Selig, St. Albert, AB and Sheldon Selig, Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Kevin Crawford and Stephen (Laura) Crawford, both of Prince Albert, SK and Melissa Yorke of Kentville NS and Daryl Yorke , Waterville, NS (Cassie Brothers); great-grandchildren, Shauntal, MacKenzie, Dominique, Kassidy, Max and JoJo of Prince Albert, SK and Dane, and Phenix of Kentville NS; sisters-in-law, Helen Oickle, Aylesford, NS and Rose Oickle, Meadowvale, NS and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Lester Selig; brothers, Arnold, Wilfred and Everett. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM, Friday, January 13, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, January 14, 2012 with Rev.
