Obituary

GORDON, Gerald Everett - age 81, of Tremont, passed away on February 9, 2015, in Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Tremont on September 9, 1933, he was a son of the late Frederick M. and Ida G. (Neily) Gordon. Gerald had worked at the Nova Scotia Department of Highways, Kingston Lumber Mill and Moody Bros. in Berwick. He had owned a Hobby Farm in Tremont for several years. Surviving are his wife, Florence M. (Morse) Gordon, Tremont; nephews, Gordon Dolliver, Middleton; John (Tammy) Dolliver, Alberta; great niece, Kathryn; great nephews, Kenneth and Chase. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Ellis Gordon; sister, Shirley Dollivar. Cremation has taken place. All are welcome to attend an Open House at the family home, from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, June 27. If weather is inclement the Open House will be moved to the Harmony Community Hall. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Harmony Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
