TAYLOR, Gerald Palmer Uncle Jed 1910-2010 of Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown formerly of Lawrencetown passed away on August 24, 2010. Born in Hortonville, he was a son of the late William John Taylor and Ethel March (nee Taylor). Gerald was the oldest surviving member of the Lawrencetown United Baptist Church. He loved his family, gardening and travelling. He will be deeply missed by his nephew, Stephen Harlow and his family with whom he resided with for many years. He will also be missed by many special nephews and nieces. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth (Arnold) Schmidt, Edmonton, AB and brother, Harry (Theresa) March, Onslow, NS. He was predeceased by brothers, John Taylor, Cyril, Harold, Earl and John March; sisters, Joyce Harlow Wight, Gene March-Longbottom; Beryl (Burdette) Sallies and Grace Cory. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, August 27, 2010 in Lawrencetown United Baptist Church, Pastor Patty Beals and Rev. John Beers officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Donations in memory may be made to the Lawrencetown United Baptist Church. Many thanks to Mountain Lea Lodge for their kindness and care.
