It is with great sadness that the family of Gerry Harry Coleman, 74, of Nictaux, announce his passing on Friday, April 29, 2022 at QEII Halifax Infirmary with his family by his side.

Born in Middleton on May 2, 1947, he was the son of the late Harry and Joyce (Sherman) Coleman.

Gerry spent many years of his working career as a driver for Thompson's Moving & Storage and later with Hoyt's Moving & Storage, both in Middleton. In his spare time, he volunteered for 10 years as a Lion with the Middleton & District Lion's club.

He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan, enjoyed traveling to Greenfield Dragway to watch the races and playing cards with his friends & family. He also enjoyed hunting with his brothers and nephews, fishing and going to Bingo.

He felt blessed to have his loving wife by his side for 33 years sharing lots of love and laughter. They had many mutual interests over the years including spoiling grandkids, bowling, playing softball and going for drives creating so many memories together.

Gerry will be remembered for his soft heart, quick smile, sense of humour, being a loving husband, caring father & grampy. He loved his best friend Blayne and Betty from Kitchener, ON, always wanting to know how "Henry" was doing.
