BEEVOR, Gertrude Margaret "Gertie" "Gigi" - 65 of Middleton formerly of Scarborough, Ontario passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Cornerbrook, N.L. she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Winnifred (Young) Dobbin. Gertie was very fun-loving and loved people. She is survived by her companion/caregiver, Dianne Burton; sons Wallace Dobbin Middleton and Ronnie Dobbin, Oshawa, Ont.; sisters Selena (John) Gillis Barrie, Ont. Marion (John) Burton, Bradford, Ont. Rose Marie (Fred) Rideout, Three Mile Plains, NS; brothers William (Linda) Dobbin and Frank Dobbin both of Nictaux, Gerald (Susan) Dobbin, Oshawa, Ont.; sister in law Diane Dobbin, Auburn; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Bernard. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St. (902) 825-3448 followed by cremation. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9th in St. Monicas Roman Catholic Church, Middleton Father Gerald Saulnier officiating, assisted by Rev. Deacon Don Boudreau.
