MOSSMAN, Gilbert Kenneth ~ Age 77, of Waterville, Kings Co., N.S., passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on May 22, 1947, in Burlington, Kings Co., he was a son of the late Earl G. and Kathleen F. (Portner) Mossman.

Gilbert had been employed at Standard Paving and later Avon Foods and later picking strawberries and piece work until his retirement. He was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs. Gilbert enjoyed time spent in front of the T.V. watching curling, football and skiing. He enjoyed meals from Johnny's Cookhouse and Ice Cream Shop.

Surviving are a sister, Joyce (Arthur) Balcom, New Minas; nieces and nephews, Carrie Yeaton, Kentville; Tina Bennett, Thunder Bay, Ont.; Jasmine Yeaton, Kentville; Marcus Yeaton, Newport; Michelle, Patricia, Robert and David Kayes, all of British Columbia.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Mary (Gary) Kayes.

There will be no visitation or service. A private interment will take place in Berwick Cemetery, Main St., Berwick. Donations in his memory may be made to Kings Co S.P.C.A.
