HOLMES, Glenda Ann ~ Age 73, of Middleton, Annapolis Co., passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on November 4, 1949, in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late L. John and Minnie F. (Willman) Currie. Glenda was a stay-at-home mom and loved her family and many friends. She loved time spent researching her family ancestry. Glenda loved her Lord, faithfully attending local churches wherever she lived. Surviving are her husband, Douglas Holmes; son, James (Kristal) Sampson, Amherst; grandson, Timothy Sampson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Frederick in infancy, Leslie and David Currie; sister, Sheila Dickson.
