WRIGHT, Glenn William
– age 78 of East Kingston, Kings Co., passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at home. Born in Spryfield, he was a son of the late Alexander MacLean "Mac" and Alice Matilda (Robinson) Wright. Glenn retired after many years serving with the Canadian Forces. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an amateur radio operator with his call sign VE1 GWW. Glenn was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston Branch No. 98. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, the former Ida Porter, East Kingston; his daughters, Glenda (Todd) Saulnier, Halifax; Gail (Mark) Crouse, Regina, SK; his son, Dwayne Wright, Regina, SK and his grandchildren, Elora Isabel Saulnier, Ottawa; Natalie Rose Saulnier, Halifax and Grant Waylon Crouse, Regina, SK. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Donald Wayne Wright. Cremation has taken place. All are welcome to a time in Celebration of Glenn's Life from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, March 24, in Aylesford United Church Hall, 2414 Hwy No. 1, Aylesford, with words of remembrance at 3 p.m., by Rev. John Moses. Interment will take place in North Kingston Cemetery, at a later date. Donations in Glenn's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Aylesford United Church.
