FREDERICKS, Gordon Keith - 69, of Tremont, NS passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in East Pubnico, NS, he was a son of the late Norman and Estella (Pinkney) Fredericks. For many years Gordon drove a heating oil truck and later retired from O.H. Armstrong Ltd., Kingston. He deeply loved being in the woods, and working with wood. He enjoyed his gardens, both flower and vegetable. Gordon was a fun-loving, easy-going man who enjoyed children and making others laugh. Gordon loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, the former Rosalie Chymist; sons, Robert (Faith) Fredericks, Leesburg, Virginia and Lowell (Lori) Fredericks, Virginia Beach, Virginia; daughter, Melanie (Matthew) Brewer, Bedford; sisters, Elsie Herman, Bridgewater; Ruth Fredericks, Bridgewater and Cheryl (Francis) Nickerson, Truro; brothers, Malcolm (Mary) Fredericks, East Jordan, NS and Weldon (Debbie) Fredericks, East Jordan, NS; grandchildren Sharon (Tim), Robyn (Robbie), Bobby, Kaylyn, Jackson, Morgan and great granddaughters Clarissa, Brianna and Rachael. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life and reception for family and friends will be held 2:00PM Saturday, March 9, 2013 in the Weston Christian Fellowship Church, Weston.
