Ward, Gordon Lester – 83, of Beaconsfield, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Lester and Pauline (Stoddart) Ward. Gordon was a dairy farmer, a member of the Bridgetown Lions Club and the Bridgetown Curling Club and a member of Hillsburn Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing, he enjoyed going to dances, listening to country music, and just enjoyed being around other folks. Surviving are his wife, Carol (Muncaster); stepdaughter Dana Lynn Bellerose, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont; Daniel (Delaine) Carlson, Berwick; David (Tabatha) Carlson, Middle Sackville; sister Marlene Ward, Berwick; two grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; several step great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Philip Ward, and his brother Russell Ward. In keeping with Gordon's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 1:00–2:00pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025, where a memorial service will follow at 2:00pm all in Middleton Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Elliott officiating.
