Grant LeRoy Kenneally

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our deeply loved father, Grant LeRoy Kenneally, of Morden, Kings Co., NS, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at home. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Reginald and Gladys (Mapplebeck) Kenneally. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Cody and Laurie. He was the proud father of four children: Christopher (Leigh), Shaun (Natalie), Amanda, and Kaitlin, and a devoted grandfather to Ewan, Maureen, Adael, Eva, Amber, Evie, Rachael, Mason, Alexander, Noah, and Rosalie, and great-grandfather to Addison and Brynlee, whose love for his family ran deep. Also surviving are brothers, Bobby and Larry; sisters, Debbie, Julie, Jackie and Lynn. A hardworking man with strong hands and a quiet nature, he was most at home in the woods or building, fixing, and creating with his hands. He loved fishing, hunting, and being surrounded by nature. Whether in the woods, on the water, or simply outdoors, that was where he found his peace and felt most himself. As a single father, he dedicated his life to raising his four children, carrying the weight of responsibility with strength and determination. He was not always a man of many words, but when he spoke, his words carried meaning, wisdom, and sincerity. Providing for and protecting the people he loved was his purpose in life. His work ethic, resilience, and unwavering commitment to family will be remembered by all who knew him. Though he may no longer walk beside us, the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the strength he instilled in his family will remain forever. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always. It’s not goodbye, just see you later. All are welcome to attend a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 22, in Aylesford Union Cemetery, with Rev. John R. Hannem officiating.
