Greeta Helen Porter's Obituary
PORTER, Greeta Helen ~ age 98 of Middleton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. She worked in the accounting office at MacKenzie Creamery in Middleton for many years. After the birth of her son, she stayed at home to raise her family. She loved bowling and was in the L.M.K. Bowling League where she won many trophies over the years. She loved her grandchildren immensely and attended all their life events despite the lengthy travel involved. Greeta will be fondly remembered by her son Mark Porter and his wife Carole Noel of St. Stephen, NB; grandchildren Kimberly and David; brother Arthur (Joan) Forsyth and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Harlan and Stella (Neary) Forsyth; her brother Lawrence and her husband Carl Porter. A graveside service will be held at
1 pm, Tuesday, August 7th in Pine Grove Cemetery Middleton with Rev. John Moses officiating, followed by a reception for family and friends in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902-825-3448. Online guestbook may be signed by visiting:
