HERBERT, H. June ~ 91, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019, in Grand View Manor, Berwick, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Berwick, to the late Charlie and Bessie (Harvey) Herbert. June attended McGill University and was the first female to graduate with a degree in Entomology. She worked for the Federal Department of Agriculture in Kentville at the Research Station where she retired after 35 years of service. June loved to travel and attended countless community events with her family and friends. She enjoyed time spent at the homestead and her cottage at Black Rock. June loved to garden, entertain and host many get-togethers where there was always plenty of food to share. She is survived by sister, Pauline Warren; sister-in-law, Yvonne Herbert; nieces & nephews, Jane (Jake) MacDonald, Donna (Roger) Rand, John Warren; Jody (Glen) Vigsbol, David (Lana) Herbert, Jill (Dean) Cluff, John Herbert; Greg Best (Brenda), Herb Best, Bill (Mary) Best; Wayne (Leslie) Best; Holly Best, Bob (Karlyne) Best, Murray (Kellie) Best; several great nieces & nephews, special great nephew, Mitchell Best; several great-great nieces & nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sister, Alice "Betty" (brother-in-law, Allison) Best; brother, Bill Herbert; brother-in-law, Sonny Warren. Visitation will take place from 12 noon with a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m., Berwick & District Lions Club, (Kings Mutual Century Centre) 250 Veterans Drive, Berwick on Sunday, Oct. 20th. Rev.
