MAILMAN, Harlen Claude "Tiny" - 73, Harlen went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Waterville, Kings County (March 9, 1941), he was a son of the late Claude and Mary (Dominey) Mailman. He worked in his early years on various farms in the Valley. Harlen went to Toronto in 1964 and worked 10 years at Satin Finish Hardwood Flooring. He returned to Nova Scotia in 1974 and worked at Sawler Gardens in Somerset most of the years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Mary (Huntley) Mailman and by son Mark, at home in Torbrook Mines. Harlen is also survived by sisters Bertha (Gilbert) Dominey, Coldbrook, Elsie Parrish (Jim Sherrard), Berwick, Margaret, (Cecil) Bond, Kentville, Mary Bond (Roger McCamin), New Minas, Jean (Henry) Streeter, White Rock and brothers Wayne (Debbie) Mailman, Aylesford, Arthur (Sharon) Mailman, Coldbrook. He was predeceased by brothers William, Harris and Charles. Many thanks, to the staff of Grand View Manor for their loving care and kindness. Visitation will be held from 7-9 pm Monday, May 12th at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 13th, Rev.
