Obituary

Harold Beals

January 7, 1938 ~ May 14, 2024

Harold Gordon Beals, known to many as HB. He was determined to regain what multiple strokes took from him but in the end the battle was too much.

Harold's biggest accomplishments were his marriage of 65 years to the love of his life, Joyce, and his family. All he ever needed was his family who brought him pride and joy daily.  And his hair, he had the best hair always kept perfectly combed and he loved to receive compliments on it.

Through the years he has had ponies and could often be found in the ring showing or as Ring Master. He was a salesman by trade first with Sears then in cars. Harold loved country music, dancing, animals, socializing, Robins coffee dates with special friends, and had quite a sense of humor.

His love and humor will be greatly missed by his wife, Joyce (Acker), West Paradise, children; Robert (Nancy) Beals, Lawrencetown, Gail (Joe) Morris, Port Williams, and Tracey (Matthew) Redden, Berwick. His grandchildren Kirk (Ai), Matthew, Jacob (Jessica), David, Sydney and great granddaughters Mya and Fiona. He will also be missed by his brother Frank (Betty) Beals, sister Faye Beals, sister-in-law Pauline Beals and many nieces and nephews.

Harold was pre-deceased by his parents, Gordon and Jennie (Rafuse), brother Roy, and nephew Roy Jr.

Heartfelt thanks to his caregivers over the past few years from VON, SMH, Mountain Lea Lodge, and VRH.

No visitation by request, family interment at a later date.
