Obituary

WILSON, Harry Walter- 87 of Victoria Vale, passed away April 9, 2022 in Graceview Senior Residence, Victoria Vale. Born in Dartmouth, July 9, 1934, he was a son of the late John "Jack" and Mary (Basin) Wilson. In his younger years, Harry was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed gardening, writing and wrote a book called "Justice Nova Scotia Style, One Man's Fight for Truth and Fairness". Harry was a Boiler maker for 60 years and a member of National Boiler Makers Association. Harry is survived by his sons Robert, Tom, and George; daughters Brenda Wilson and Darlene Wachznuik; grandchildren Riley, Morgan, Lorelai, Breanna, Robert, Kevin, Aaron, Jennifer, Emily, Natalie, Monica, and Lindsey; brothers Alan and Jack; sisters Doreen and Mary; several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Lorraine White and the wonderful staff at Graceview Senior Residence who took such good care of Harry during the past few years. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held 3:30 pm Saturday, May 7 in Nictaux Cemetery. Major Paul Blake officiating. Donations in memory may be made to Salvation Army or War Amps.
