April 18, 1952 – February 3, 2026
Veinotte, Harvey Edgar – 73 of Aylesford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 03, 2026, at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Cecil and Nina (Joudrey) Veinotte.
Harvey loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing trips with his brothers-in-law Curtis and Allen, having attended many fishing tournaments in Hubbards. Harvey liked going with Roger and Bill to the "Yellow Hotel" (repurposed school bus). Harvey worked at various jobs, including OH Armstrong, Sidney Hiltz Excavating, working in the woods to name a few. He loved his grandsons; they were his pride and joy.
Harvey is survived by his common law wife, Darlene Rose Schaeffer; daughters, Paige (John) Penny, Wilmot; Brittany Schaeffer, Greenwood Square; brother, Don (Margaret) Veinotte, Somerset; sisters, Ann Hiltz, Kingston; Joy Veinotte (Emmerson Banks), Factorydale; grandsons, Andrew Huntley and Alec Penny; several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberley Veinotte; sisters, Ruby-Ann Veinotte; Wanda Whitman; brothers, Rex, Glendon "Milton" and Lawrence.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will take place 2-4 PM Saturday April 18, 2026, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, Middleton. Interment will be at a later date in the Morristown Cemetery.
