CLARKE, Hazel Doris ~ Age 91, of Belleisle, Annapolis Co., passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born on April 11, 1928, in Brickton, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Alma (Banks) Burbidge. Hazel enjoyed being a home maker, time spent in her kitchen and was well known for her cooking. She loved gardening, her animals and especially her beloved horses. Surviving are son, Danny (Altha) Clarke, Bridgetown; sister, Kathleen (Les) Hake, Middleton; brother, Carl (Jennifer) Burbidge, Brickton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Murray F. Clarke; sisters, Minnie, Clare and Elva; brothers, Arnold in infancy, Frank, Aubrey, Irvin, Burpee, Charles. Ralph, Stanley and Stewart. Visitation will take place 7-9 p.m., Sunday evening in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448, from where funeral service will take place 2 p.m., Monday, December 2. Rev. Eugene Foster officiating, with interment in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown.
