HACALA (Pitt, Dobbin), Helen Constance
– Berwick, Kings Co., N.S., formerly of Rothesay N.B. On October 30, 2016, our beloved mother, Helen Constance Hacala, left this earth peacefully surrounded by the love of family and caregivers. Born September 24, 1920, she was the daughter of Vernon R. and Ada M. (Shay) Pitt and was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by daughters, Donna Toole of Arnprior Ont., and Kathleen Squarebriggs (Allan) of Berwick, N.S.; grandchildren, Stephen (DawnaLee), Michael (Eva), Brian (Michelle) Toole and Meagan (Craig) Cairns, as well as her great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, Donnie; sister, Lois Stubbs; son, G. Richard Dobbin. A family memorial service will be held at a later date in Rothesay N.B. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448.
