LENTON, Helen Parry ~ Age 85, of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at home. Born in  Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Margaret E. (Marsters) Parry.  Helen obtained her M.A. elementary education and had taught school in New York State, Virginia and Quebec. She was a devoted member of Berwick Baptist Church and enjoyed summers spent at the family cottage in Harbourville. Surviving are sons, Jonathan (Kathleen) Lenton, Kingston, Ont.; Anthony "Tony" Lenton, Berwick; Gordon (Cindy) Lenton, Waterville; grandchildren, David, Dylan, Jesse, Rachel and Jasmine; cousins, Louis and Eugene Delaney. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph A. Lenton; cousin, Kenneth Delaney. There will be no visitation. A service in celebration of Helen`s life will take place at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 27, in Berwick Baptist Church, 265 Commercial St., Berwick. Rev. Sarah Scott officiating, with a reception to follow. Interment will take place in Berwick Cemetery.
