EVANS, Herbert Charles "Herb " ~ age 63 of Millville, NS passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at home, surrounded with many loved ones at his side. Born in Middleton, he was a son of Katharine Whitman and the late Roy Evans. Herb was a mechanical millwright. He had worked as a trucker for Wapiti Gravel Suppliers (Highway Base) in Grand Prairie, AB and worked for Acadian Seaplants in the past. Herb also owned an auto mechanic business in North Kingston. He enjoyed music, muscle cars, motorcycles and drag strip racing. He will be missed by his common law spouse, Barbara Keddy; daughters, Jasmine (Tim) Sangster, Florida; Adele (Josh) Rainforth, Morristown, NS; step-daughters Sandi (Shaun) Belanger, Sexsmith, AB; Crystal (Steve) MacNeil, Nictaux, NS; sons, Zack Evans, Halifax, NS; step-son, Chad (Tiffany) Keddy, Bezanson, AB; sisters, Cynthia (Alan) Gates, Abbotsford, BC; Katharine Evans, Kingston, NS; brother, David (Julie Spinney) Evans, Kingston, NS; 3 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren. Besides his father, Herb was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Evans and step-daughter Angela Sharpe. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
