Derby, Hugh Gerald - 63 of Westport, Brier Island, NS. It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of a brother, uncle and friend on June 3rd, 2012. Hugh was born on Brier Island to Whitney and Muriel (Dakin) Derby on January 18th, 1949. Hugh held a master hairdresser license and in recent years worked at the Trade Centre Ltd in Halifax. Hugh was an avid photographer, enjoyed travelling, and really liked celebrating Christmas. He will be remembered for the twinkle in his eye and his sense of humour, and his luck at playing cards. Hugh was predeceased by his parents and was survived by sister, Deanna (Charles) Ellis, The Villages, FL; brother, Arden (Jane) Derby, Westport, NS; niece Tiffany Derby, Westport, NS and nephew Colin Derby, Toronto, ON.
