WILEY, Ida Gabriella (Meister) of Kingston passed peacefully away Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton, NS. Born in Berwick February 4, 1963, she was the loving daughter of Fronie Meister, Aylesford and the late Bill Meister. Ida was a graduate of the NSCC with a diploma in Human Services and spent many years working in the field of Human Services. Ida was also an artisan whose many creations with both beads and woodworking earned her many accolades. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years Rodney; her mother Fronie; sons, Frank and family, Aylesford and Thomas, Greenwood. Sisters, Jacquie (David) Sloan, Aylesford; Betty Hadley, Bridgewater; Susan (Stewart) Wighton, Aylesford; brothers, George, Kentville; Earl (Denise) Meister, Aylesford and Guy (Charlene) Meister, Aylesford. Grandson, Hank William Wiley, step-grandsons, Sebastian and Malachi. Survived by uncle Stan Meister. She was predeceased by her father Bill Meister and sister, Cathy Meister. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held in the Aylesford Union Cemetery at a later date with Rev. Leon Langille officiating.
