BOSSE, Irma Kathleen (Parks)-91 of Margaretsville passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Medford, Massachusetts and grew up in West Summerville, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Kathleen (Baker) Parks. She was a graduate of Emerson College, Boston, Mass, with a Master's Degree from Worcester State Teachers College. She taught school in Bethlehem, NH, Warren, Mass and Leicester, Mass for a total of 20 years. She was the head of the Foreign Language Department at Leicester High School for many years, where she taught French. Irma was an avid piano player, both for pleasure and for the Margaretsville Baptist Church. In 1975 Irma and her husband, Robert retired to Margaretsville to the former town of her parents. They resided in the family home of the late Dr. and Mrs. Sabean, her aunt and uncle, and were active in the Margaretsville Baptist Church. Irma was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by daughter, Barbara (Stephen) Chavkin, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; son, Robert M. (Kathy) Bosse, Ellsworth, Maine; grandchildren, Kelly Perry, Jackie Lessard, Debbie Millwater, Ellen Sam, Laura Barton, Carrie Chavkin and seven great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Bosse in September 2002; sisters, Barbara Cooper and Josephine Jackman. By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday April 1, 2013 in the Margaretsville Baptist Church, with Rev. Eugene Foster officiating. A reception for family & friends will follow the service. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Donations in Irma's memory may be made to Margaretsville Baptist Church.
