KEDDY, Irving Acel ~ aged 84, of Kingston, Kings Co., NS, passed away July 25, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in North Kingston, he was a son of the late Randolph "Randy" and Gladys (Dempsey) Keddy. In his younger years, Irving picked apples in the US and Ontario as well as working as a gas station attendant. He later worked for a paving company. Lastly, Irving discovered his passion in farming, and spent the rest of his working career in mixed farming mainly focusing on dairy cattle. Irving is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Palmeter; daughter, Shelley (Trevor) Longmire, Litchfield; sons, Stephen (Marnie DeWolfe); Kevin (Suzanne), both of North Kingston; sisters, Donna (Wayne) Shunamon, Christene (Eric) Keddy, both of North Kingston; Cindy (Stewart) Burns, Harmony; grandchildren, Jacob, Dylan, Dawson, Jenna, Devin, Tyler, Connor, Emma, Hannah, Joey, Jordan; great grandchild, Easton. Irving was predeceased by sister, Freda Fitch; brothers, Keith and Stewart. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 pm, Friday July 29 in Middleton Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Jennings officiating. Visitation will be 11:00am – 12:00pm prior to the funeral service. Donations in Irving's memory can be made to the North Kingston Cemetery.
