Obituary

DURLING, Isabell Jean - age 80, of Wilmot, NS passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, she was a daughter of the late Ellis and Nellie (Taylor) Robar. Isabell loved playing cards, baking, quilting, crafts and gardening. She enjoyed going for drives and fishing with Freeman. Isabell loved her family dearly, especially all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Frank) Nowe, Meadowvale; her sons, Allan (Pam) Durling and Greg (Shelley) Durling, both of Margaretsville; her sisters, Florence Carter, Gambo, NL; Dianna Taylor, Port George; Brenda Robar, St. Thomas, ON; Deborah (Lenny) Pelton, Meadowvale; her brother, Richard (Grace) Robar, Nictaux, her companion Freeman Parks, Wilmot; her grandchildren Perry, Jaime, Darren, Melanie, Jessica, Justine, Mitchell, Ryan and Kristin; great grandchildren Kieshie, Jason, Violet, Gabe, Keith and Kyla and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Franklin Durling; son Paul; brothers, Paul and Wayne; sister, Hilda and great granddaughter Charlotte. In keeping with Isabell's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 1:00PM Sunday, August 16, 2015 in the Nictaux Cemetery with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
