Jacob Christopher Schneider

It is with profound sadness that the family of Jacob Christopher Schneider of Aylesford, NS, announces his unexpected passing on July 6, 2026, at 30 years old. Born April 30, 1996, in Ottawa, Ontario.

Jacob was an avid outdoorsman, usually in his rubber boots—fishing, hunting, off-roading, or walking in the woods. He was a huge animal lover, especially his dog and best friend, Beau.

Jacob enjoyed time on his “J Ranch” with Beau, all things outside, and trips to camp for some target practice and to unwind. There was nothing Jacob did not enjoy driving, especially if it could take him off-road. He also loved his trucks and excavator, with country music playing loud and Beau alongside.

Jacob loved cooking, especially BBQing, and was always up for some sea bugs or all-you-can-eat sushi. Of course, on birthdays, DQ ice cream (original) was a must.

Jacob was close with his friends & cousins (Cuz’) and loved when they could go to camp together. He was especially close with his brother Barrett; they truly enjoyed spending their days together doing all the things they loved. If they could not be together, they were on the phone keeping in touch.

Jacob will always be fondly remembered by all who loved him as the most kind-hearted man with the biggest and best hugs in the world.

Jacob is survived by his mother, Teresa Chambers Schneider-Girod (Michael); father, Frederick Jacob Schneider (Anny); brother, Barrett (Grace); nephew expected in February 2027; grandmother, Mabel Chambers; aunts, uncles, and special cousins.

Predeceased by his paternal Opa (grandfather), Martin Schneider; paternal Oma (grandmother), Christina Schneider; and maternal grandfather, Darrell Chambers. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448.
