Jim was a former 14 year employee of McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Toronto and in 1979 returned to Nova Scotia. Surviving besides his mother Olive are brothers David (Norma), Kingston, Jamaica; Murray, Halifax; Garry (Rita), Kingston, NS; Malcolm (Judy), Greenwood and Stephen, Grand Bay Westfield, NB. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. At Jims request, there will not be a funeral service.
