Carr, James Vaughn – Age 78 of Kingston, Kings Co., NS, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Fredericton, NB he was a son of the late Lester and Alma (Waugh) Carr. Jim spent over 30 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force and Air Force Reserves. He also worked at the Greenwood Gardens as a rink attendant for close to 30 years. Jim will be fondly remembered as a very happy and kind man who was always smiling and had an infectious laugh. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 53 wonderful years, Linda Carr; son James Tolbert Carr (Carol Sychta), Stittsville, ON; daughter, Sara Jane (Rafe) MacKenzie, Whitby, ON. Gramp will be sadly missed by his grandsons Owen, Jacob, Noel, Oscar & Silas. Jim is survived by his sister, Phyllis Lipsett, Fredericton, NB; brothers, Ross (Lynn) Carr, Saint John, NB, Nelson (Marianne) Carr, Geary, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his brother, Roger Carr. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. There are no services at this time as per family wishes.
