FRANKS, James ~ Age 85, of Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born on July 29, 1938, in Middleton, he was the son of the late James A. and Lena (Thorne) Franks.

James farmed for most of his life and owned and operated a mix farm for many years. He had been employed at Beaver Fruit Coop for 15 years.

Surviving are his brother, Charles (the late Ella) Franks, Lawrencetown; brother-in-law, Clifford Herring, Murray River, P.E.I.; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Norma Herring and Florence (Tom) Whitman.

A graveside service will take place at a future date in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown.  Donations in his memory may be made to Grand View Manor Foundation or Lawrencetown & District Volunteer Fire Department.
