LESLIE, James Taylor "Jim" ~ age 79 of Greenwood, NS formerly of Lawrencetown, NS passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in QEII Halifax Infirmary surrounded by his family. Born in Brockville, ON he was a son of the late Stanley and Helen (Taylor) Leslie. Jim retired as Branch Manager with Royal Bank of Canada after 19 years. He later worked as a financial planner, NSLC and then with the Registry of Deeds in Lawrencetown. Jim was a retired member of the Lawrencetown & District Volunteer Fire Department having served for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and member of Eden Golf & Country Club, Paradise. Jim enjoyed bowling, playing darts and curling. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Fay (Goddard); son, Timothy (Shelley) Leslie, Coldbrook; daughter, Kimberly Leslie (Keenan Lewis), East Tremont; brothers, William "Bill" (Mary) Leslie, Ottawa, ON; Bruce (Mary Jane) Leslie, Brockville, ON; George (Connie) Leslie, Sarnia, ON; Mark Leslie (Marianne Bimm), Brockville, ON; grandchildren Samantha-Fay Leslie (Shane); Taylor Leslie (Emily); Leah Foster; great grandchildren Bailee, Gage and soon to be joining the family, Evelyn, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Glen Leslie.  A special thank you to Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville and QEII Halifax Infirmary.  Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, December 30, 2022 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448 with Pastor Andrew Taylor officiating.
