Obituary

MOORE, James Hugh MacDonald ~ age 86 of Wilmot, passed away July 30, 2019 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Paris, ON he was a son of the late Hugh and Bessie (MacDonald) Moore. James was retired after 32 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Warrant Officer. He loved camping, travelling and driving where any gravel road would take him. He was an avid woodworker, loved reading and was a great story teller. He liked to be punctual and was always an hour early for any appointment. James loved his family and took great joy in all his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by daughters, Deborah Moore-Boylan (Kevin), Berwick; Tara Comeau (Serge) Sherwood Park, AB; Brendalee Prall (Randy), Wilmot; sons, Wayne Moore, Lower Sackville; adopted son, Terry (Wendy) Beard, Dartmouth and daughter-in-law, Sandra (Bernie), O'Brien, Bridgetown; sisters, Janet Connor, Ilderton, ON; Marlene (Eric) Minogue, Ingersoll, ON; brother, Ken Moore, Kitchener-Waterloo, ON; grandchildren, Scott, Krista, Christopher, Andrew, Danielle, Matthew, Sarah, Kelsie and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Mya, Colton, Braydon, Brielle, Brynn, Adalyn, Everlee, Ellie, Cooper, Isabelle, Nikolas, August and Porter; adopted grandchildren, Kaleb and Cayden; niece Nicole and great-niece, Amiyah. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his wife, Jean (Beeler). In keeping with James' wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 2 nd at All Saints Anglican Church, Kingston, with Father Paul Jennings officiating. Interment will be in North Kingston Cemetery. A reception will follow the service in the Church Hall. Donations in memory may be made to The Lodge That Gives.
