MUISE, James 'Paul" – age 65 of Lawrencetown, NS formerly of Mount Hanley, NS passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late James and Dorothy "Mae" (Davis) Muise. Paul worked as a machinist for TB Woods for many years while living in Ontario. He loved his visits with his friends at Tim Hortons and enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed playing guns and cars with great nephew, Ryker and hearing about their sports from Keaton and Jenna making him biscuits. Paul will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister, Rachel Kirton (Kyle Kent), Hamilton, ON; half-sister, Erna Nickerson, Shelburne; brothers, David Muise, Brooks, AB; Donald (Beatrice) Muise, Mount Hanley; Allister Muise (Lisa), Moncton, NB and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his common-law spouse, Elizabeth "Betty" White; sisters, Shirley Moore, Katherine Muise and Suzanne and Janice both in infancy and brother, Joseph. A heartfelt thank you to all Home Care and VON staff for their support, care and compassion shown to Paul over the last number of years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, June 17, 2016 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Donations in Pauls' memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
