Aldred, Jason Kenneth – 49, of Nictaux, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 15, 2025 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on December 4, 1976 in Middleton, he was a son of Rick and Gail (Lawrence) Aldred, Melvern Square.

Jason was a jack of all trades but truly loved his most recent position as a Residential Rehabilitation Worker (RRW) with New Vision Care Homes. He loved working with others and was job shadowing for the position of an Educational Assistant as well. In earlier years, he worked for Dexters, Michelin, Calfrac, and Armstrongs. Jason could light up a room and had a sarcastic sense of humor. He loved his kids and his family deeply. He had a passion for good food, cooking, and growing herbs. Jason enjoyed camping, music, and dancing and was always a joy to be around.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his partner, Amanda Sheppard, Nictaux; daughter Olivia Nicholson, Morristown; sons Sutton Coyle, Port Williams; Jaxson Aldred, South Farmington; sister Tessa Aldred (David Watton), Melvern Square; brothers Christopher Aldred, Prince Albert; Brandon Aldred (Jaidan Dondale), Prince Albert. He was predeceased by grandparents, Teresa and John "Harry" Lawrence and Georgie and Gerald Aldred; aunts, Susan Lutz and Christine Sawler; and uncle, Laurie Aldred.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 1-855-825-3448. Rev. Warren Jones officiating. A reception will follow the service.
